3K a year 13 hours ago 13 hours ago 13 hours ago Position Overview The Development Associate will provide direct administrative support to the Directors of Development.
The department seeks a personable and engaged individual who cares about relationship management and who is eager to contribute through excellent interpersonal, writing, reporting, and project management skills.
This position requires collaborative interactions with members within the Department as well as with academic leaders, faculty and staff across campus as well as interactions with Merrimack volunteers and donors.
Responsibilities include:
As a true partner, you will support the development and administrative processes integral to our work, and must be extremely detail-oriented and ensure delivery of impeccable donor services.
Responsible for assisting in the preparation of donor reports, briefings, drafting and preparing correspondence and proposals, stewardship reports, and presentations.
Coordinate hospitality for development visitors, including reserving meeting room(s), coordinating catering/refreshments, campus access, preparing thank you gifts, etc.
Proactively manage calendars, schedules, budgets, and travel/meeting arrangements.
Provides administrative support for the fundraising team including data entry for visit reports and supporting prospect tracking while aiding in continuous improvement in the frontline team's reporting processes.
Assist with special donor events and Office of Development and Alumni Relations programs, which will include some evening and weekend work.
Perform other special projects related to the goals of the development team, as assigned.
Some weekend and evening work required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Must possess tact, discretion, sound judgment and initiative.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Comfort in dealing with a wide range of College constituencies.
Proficient with audio/visual and presentation platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams or WebEx, PowerPoint, etc.
) Working knowledge of the Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, electronic mail and calendars, mainframe, and internet/HTML that support high-level fundraising and CRM platforms.
Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and project and time management skills.
Prefer candidates have 1 year of experience in a related field such as fundraising, higher education, non-profit, development, alumni relations, and/or marketing.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
