Staff Software Engineer and Team Leader

Candidate will be responsible for development of desktop and mobile applications required to offset specific application needs beyond the current larger SW platform capabilities the company has today. The position is also responsible for leading a small team (3 to 4) of development, integration and test engineers. Responsibilities will include providing technical team leadership as well as developing new software components in C#/.NET, JavaScript,HTML5 and helping maintain existing ETL applications. The candidate will need to be able to work in a start up mentality playing many different roles and be very adaptable. Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as team lead. Good interpersonal team skills for teamwork, respect, courtesy, tact, and discretion. Ability to accommodate international & domestic travel once or twice a year.
Requirements
Microsoft certifications are a plus. At least 3 to 5 years experience with commercial software development & ETL applications. At least 2 to 3 years acting as a technical lead on software projects. A good track record of software team leadership & participation. Experience in all phases of software development, from requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Working knowledge / hands on experience with rational database design, and SQL Server 2000/2005
Education
Four years CS, CE or EE degree required.
