Technical Account Manager

Onepath is looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team.


Position Overview

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a strategic technical position within the organization. This position is responsible for onboarding new customers, maintaining the technical integrity of their technology infrastructure, and coordinating complex projects for assigned customers. As a part of this role, the TAM is also responsible for providing high-level technical assistance to the service team when needed.?


Responsibilities

  • Stay service aware of all customers? Key IT services (technology stack), for which support is being provided.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the following: Active Directory, LAN Networking Protocols, WAN Networking Protocols, Virtualization, Security, Cloud Services and how each can be integrated to benefit customers.
  • Manage new customer Onboarding process and Remediation Report creation, along with monthly service reporting on technology infrastructure
  • Handle/lead customer projects; including server builds & installs, network design & installs, etc.
  • Assist with technical pre-sales by assisting Customer Account Managers with building appropriate quotes for customer projects and supporting SLA compliance
  • Assist in identification and remediation of critical technical issues.
  • Assist Leadership on ensuring consistency of existing systems through creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.

?Qualifications

This position requires a person who is highly self-motivated, a technical leader/trainer, a troubleshooting expert, a self-paced task master, and must be able to multi-task in a fast faced environment.?

  • 5+ years working on a professional help desk?
  • Professional IT Certifications:?
    • Core CompTIA certifications:???????
      • ?A+, Network+, Security+ (or acceptable higher level certificates)?
    • Two of the following:?
      • Microsoft MCSA (required) leading towards an MCSE (preferred)
      • Cisco CCNA (required) leading towards a CCNP (preferred).
      • VMware VSP (required) leading towards VCP (preferred).
    • One of the following:?
      • Kaseya Certified Administrator.
      • LabTech Certified Administrator.
    • At least one PBX/VIOP system certification to ensure basic knowledge for quoting and escalations.?


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
