Sr. Compensation and Benefits Analyst

The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for developing, managing and administering compensation plans and providing consultation to Human Resources Business Partners and management regarding compensation issues. Reporting to the VP of Total Rewards. The Senior Compensation Analyst is involved in all aspects of compensation and will perform the responsibilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.


  • Implementation of merit/structure budget recommendations, the salary planning process, the annual merit increase process, promotional policies, incentive/bonus levels and features
  • Participates in the design of programs for base pay and incentive pay in the US
  • Creates, documents and implements compensation administrative processes
  • Prepares position descriptions and assigns salary levels
  • Completes compensation surveys to ensure market data is valid and useful
  • Benchmarks best practices and creates compensation policies
  • Consults with business units in support of compensation related projects
  • Maintains appropriate databases for compensation programs and evaluation results
  • Assists in the analysis and administration of executive pay programs including long- term incentives and deferred compensation
  • Participates on task teams to represent Compensation's viewpoint in the development of programs, procedures, policies, processes, workflows and automation
  • Delivers compensation related training to management and HR. ?
  • Communicate compensation policies, practices and guidelines to employees and managers
  • Actively participates as a member of the Human Resources team
  • Stays abreast of technological and business developments to insure that the most productive, efficient, appropriate and cost-effective methods are being utilized for compensation programs


  • Bachelor?s degree required, advanced degree in Business or Human Resources preferred

  • 7+ years of compensation experience
  • Executive compensation experience
  • Strong knowledge of the technical and compliance/regulatory aspects of Compensation (i.e. job analysis and evaluation, market pricing, and survey administration)
  • Experience with Workday HRIS
  • Excellent analytical and creative thinking skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and experience
  • High proficiency with Excel
  • Travel ? Less than 10%


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
