Vehicle Description THIS CAR IS PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN TYNGSBORO, MA What we have here is a 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible Restoration Project.
The restoration has been started and these are the items that have been completed:
- Completely rebuilt original tri power motor and transmission - New tank and fuel lines - New brakes and brake lines - Powder Coated frame and other components - Completely new front end The PHS states that the car came with 389ci V8 tri-power, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power windows and top as well as a power drivers seat and a tilt wheel.
In addition she had the optional semi-metallic rear brakes (great for racing but terrible for street driving).
The new rear shoes are not semi-metallic.
This car needs a complete makeover of the body and interior and will need a new convertible top.
The owner of this car has taken on one too many projects and just does not have the time to finish this car.
